The character shapes have to be redesigned except Slippy who for some reason they didn't fuck with his legs (maybe fix that weird ass face though). The Switch 2 does not have a lot of exclusive games right now and the core audience is desperate for literally anything, but if the game sells less then a million copies, how is that the triumphant return for the Star Fox IP? But those designs were met with a lot of criticism too back when they were revealed. Especially around the humanized elements of the faces. The second movie did try to smooth the designs out a bit, they were still met with a lot of disdain. Interesting how the second movie honestly tried to appeal more to the fans of the 1987 cartoon series. But did worse. The original 1990 movie was one of the most successful independent movies for a decade before The Blair Witch project topped it.
