Get it next time it goes on sale. It's not a very long game (you can finish it in a day or two), but there's replay value if you like bonus objectives, playing on higher difficulties, and challenges (flagship hunting).

I'm in my space dogfight sim phase, played picrel recently
the gimmick was you could transform into a mech and shred everything to pieces way quicker if you can keep it in the mech form by killing more stuff
optimizing missions for speed and highscore for medals was fun
pretty skyboxes too

You used to be able to download the whole soundtrack for free and in MP3 + FLAC + WAV from Oliver Zuccaro's website, but unfortunately it's fucking broken now and I don't know how to get in contact to tell him (or if he even cares). 101soundboards has it now but only in MP3. Possibly other places you can find it but not sure where.
It really is criminally good though. Sometimes I put it on as background music if I'm reading a story and there's a space battle. Very fitting.

Gadget: Invention, Travel, & Adventure is probably better known for being David Lynch's favorite game and inspiring Marc Laidlaw heavily when writing Half-Life 1 to the point of him writing an adaptation of it.
