1 > 3 > 2They should have never bothered trying to make the story more "mature", it's quite easily the worst thing about 2 and 3, each for different reasons. They had the tone and everything perfect in 1. Just do that again with all the graphical and gameplay improvements and we will have the pinnacle of Stories.

They have these adult characters now but it's the same juvenile shit like the talking mascot or terms like "monsties". There was no point and they shouldn't have gone in that direction anyway. Pokemon doesnt fuck wiht its winning formula for no reason and thats all most people wanted from Stories was MH inspired Pokemon with a twist.But I do think this character and art direction would look nice in an actual mainline Monster Hunter game.
