honestly kind of, mostly because i haven't owned a nintendo console since the wii and that's left a backlog of at least a few other things that might make it worth a buy. metroid dread, botw, the new tomodachi, smash etc

Honestly, I would have been very tempted to buy a Switch 2 for a new Star Fox game that actually had content and advancements on the formula. Assault was one of my favourite Gamecube titles and I played a shit ton of the multiplayer PvP with my friends and the campaign, despite some flaws, was a nice proper sequel to 64. This new StarFox looks like Nintendo forgot they didn't scrap Zero and think they can re-sell 64 again with even less features and barebones multiplayer modes.If this new StarFox had>character designs that didn't look like the fucking Detective Pikachu live-action character designer made them>a campaign that wasn't a 1:1 of 64 and actually introduced new stages and planets along with some new characters, fighters and bosses>a multiplayer that actually is replayablehonestly an 8 v 8 dogfight TDM mode with level scales, Arwing customization and ranked matches would be a massive selling point same with a more simplified take on Assaults maps that felt Halo-esqe with Arwings and Landmasters scattered on the mapNintendo could easily make Star Fox their system seller but are so fucking up their own asses that they refuse to evolve the formula simply because Miyamoto is so fucking stubborn about anyone ruining his baby.

No.Now that the price has gone up, even less so.I think I'll only buy a Switch 2 if Mario Maker 3 is announced, and it includes something big, kike 3D mario maker, or some kind of scripting feature like "Game Builder Garage" that lets players create logic in their levels.
