Squadron 42, I'm neighbors with on of the engine devs. He was originally from Germany at crytek for years.

Anyways it's borderline gold right now apparently. He doesn't know I game, he doesn't know I'm on v. We just talk about house shit, but I asked him about work like a ultra normy who doesn't understand these projects take years.

He said to me yeah we're almost done just finishing up some last stuff and went on about what calling a product "gold" means blah blah. But it'll be out in 2026.

I already told you to cross off Mudang Two Hearts last time. They gutted the entire studio staff of EVR studio a couple of months back and deleted their company website. According to an investor we were supposed to receive the game by the end of march 2026. Clearly since that deadline was not met then it's dead. They don't even post dev diaries anymore. Their staff went from 100+ employees to almost 22 in a short amount of time. And then i think it eventually just got down to 2 people. That is a clear sign as any that it will never release. You don't get a major exodus of staff like for that for a game to ever release.
