>>738684282I actually had a really similar experience where any time I tried playing a Yakuza game I just got filtered by the excessive amounts of text and dialogue. But then I tried IW and loved the combat and it all kind of just clicked and I got invested in the world and characters and game design. Since then I've gone back and finished every game in the series and it's now my favorite franchise.
