Ramb never fitting in).The Church is different from all the others since there's not really any organized society, but the Darkners still have histories and relations between them, like the cup knights who serve the water spirits, the priests and the philosophers who worship and wonder about each other, and Jackenstein being shunned because he's just some "ugly" Festival decorations among a bunch of pretentious Darkners who believe they're holy and important because of the Church setting.

TV World has Ramb thinking of himself and everyone as plain objects first, and Shuttah talking about Tenna brightening that barren house world that just happens to mirror UT's locations, something more "symbolic" than historical. And the church is straight up said to be a timeless limbo without much actual order.

It might be true that the Dark Worlds are broadly based on old make-believe that Kris and The Knight partook in, but that doesn't mean the creator of the Fountain controls everything about the output. Darkners are shaped by a combination of the perception of the Lightners and the real history of those objects.Tenna is created with a personality and mannerisms that constantly upsets Kris, to the point that Kris seems willing to destroy him if Tenna blows Kris's cover in the Sword Route. Tenna, despite being created for the express purpose of enacting Kris and The Knight's will by delaying the Heroes, is able to be convinced to set Toriel free and let them go ahead and seal the Fountain. This doesn't make sense if Darkners are simply agents of the Fountain-maker's will.Ramb also tries to pry into Kris's past and motives, and outright says that he "saw" Kris make the fountain. Because he's the power strip in the living room.
