>>738697362Resistance, while Killzone is nice and all, I feel like Resistance offers better gameplay, levels, set-pieces, and even story if you're a narrativefag. The end level in Resistance 2 after you kill the final boss and inherit his powers for a moment was far more memorable and cool than anything in the three Killzone games, but Colonel Radec was awesome - shame he didn't get more screentime. His final fight was cool. Also, Resistance 3 also surpasses every console shooter including both Killzone, Halo, NuDoom, Gears of War, etc just by it's shooting and gameplay alone. I've yet to play a console shooter that feels even half as good as Resistance 3.

>>738697362I played killzone 1 and Resistance 2K1 is extremly bland and boringresistance 2 is one of the most cancerous games i have ever played. If you have 300 bullets you need 298 to clear an encounter or the beginning you then have to rush to whatever weapon drop there is but its the same shit you barely have enough bullets. Thats without mentioning there are lots of big enemies that can 1 shot you which also might spawn multiples of them at the same time.

Then with 3 they tried to make people hate the Helghast by making them cartoonishly villainous, and it still didn't work. So apart from making a tech demo for PS4 they've actively avoided ever touching the IP again and went full aggressive gay with irredeemable Horizon.
