the bait threads you post on /v/ all day every day are retarded and everyone knows it's you
>>
>>738706493
E33 honestly feels artificial and forced. Wouldn't be surprised if the Francoids paid some Indian company to astroturf positivity and groupthink about the game
>>
>>738706738
No, Mixtape is an astroturfed game. E33 sold what? 8 million copies? Through organic word of mouth marketing. You not liking a game doesn't mean people are actively being paid to sell you the product.
>>
>>738706493
Didn't metaphor underperform?
>>
>>738707534
According to Sega.
If they projected the same numbers as Persona 5, I'm sure it underperformed by that metric.
At least they finally recognized people are tired of their pattern of releasing every game twice and many opt out from buying the first version.

>Through organic word of mouth marketing
HAHAHAHAHAHA
>>
>>738706738
I think it's a combination of it being a genuinely good game, viral momentum, people latching onto the small indie studio underdog competing against AAA narrative (which isn't even entirely true in this case) and normalfags discovering the jrpg formula because it lacked the "weeb ick".

I have only seen Mixtape threads in the past 4 days and it was released 4 days ago.

>E33 sold what? 8 million copies?
The devs bought those themselves. It's like authors buying their own books so they can officially be labeled "best-sellers".

>Through organic word of mouth marketing.
No one was talking about the game because it's mediocre. The devs bought the TGA awards and remembered they needed astroturfed hype, so things wouldn't look suspicious when they swept the awards. Many months later this "organic word of mouth marketing" happened. Normal people just call it word of mouth adding in "marketing" is a Freudian Slip. GJ retard, you just keep adding evidence that E33 is an industry plant.

Sorry ranjeet, you will never be a french nepo-baby or get a french woman gifted in the musical arts. Here's a pic of the most beautiful women from your country(caste) as consolation prize.
>>
I honestly think the only reason Expedition 33 sold so well is because it was a JRPG for the "anime is fucking gay" crowd.
>>
>>738708457
This might be the most pathetic headcannon cope I've ever seen. You have 0 evidence and only speculation. Incredible how thirdies like yourself can write multiple paragraphs and say literally nothing.
>>
>>738708551
Anime is fucking gay, at least newer anime is

I would play the shit out of a JRPG that looks like Bubblegum Crisis or Patalabor
>>
>>738708686
I love how you shills can't refute anything the haters say. You guys can't even really explain why the game is good either. They really don't send their best.

>>738708774
GITS had a fun 3rd Person Shooter, but it got cancelled a long time ago because a big update ruined the game IMO. I stopped playing TF2 for awhile because of it.

The Bersek: Band of the Hawk game was sadly trash.
>>
>>738708876
>You have to refute the FACTS that I made up
You're genuinely retarded. I've never seen someone so insecure and desperate for validation in my entire life. How about you provide any source for your retarded claims instead.
>>
>>738708931
>claims Mixtape is astroturfed
>I claim Mixtape threads came about the same day as release
It's almost as if people talk about things that are new. Yet there were a few threads of E33 upon release but "organic word of mouth MARKETING" caused back to back threads months later shitting up the board.

>How about you provide any source for your retarded claims instead.
No how about you, since you can't refute anything I say. IE you're a non-white and definitely a homosexual. Post pic of your white cock inside a woman with timestamp.
>>
>>738708931
>I've never seen someone so insecure and desperate for validation in my entire life.
Is that why latch onto E33 and make it your whole personality? Nice projection. You're no better than those fags obsessed with French New Wave.
>>
>>738709089
You're just digging yourself a deeper hole. You're literally showcasing you have no idea what you're talking about and it's hilarious. 4chan was down when E33 came out. There were NO threads, not "a few" because the fucking website wasn't functional. The day it came back up EVERYONE was posting about E33 because everyone had bought and 2as playing during the outage. You're so goddamn stupid that you think you can just make shit up and people will just accept it.
>M..mixtape isn't astroturfed there's no threads
This website isn't the arbiter of all games. The industry is pushing the game with perfect scores across the board. Proven botted reviews on steam, you can see positive reviews refunding it after leaving them. A large push from anyone who is considered important in the industry despite it having 1k CCU. Expedition 33 stands on its own merits. The game was popular and warrented its popularity. Yet you're here complaining about it while ironically defending an actual industry plant product. You've still yet to source a single claim btw. It must be difficult being this retarded on a daily basis where you think you can project your fanfiction and constantly have weird sexual fantasies about everyone who bullys you being brown.
>>
>>738709359
I'm not reading all that
>>
Finally switched to a different pic OP? Did you make this yourself or did you find it on reddit?
>>
E33 was fine. Serviceable game and mechanics. But after the 15th boss in a row had fakeout attacks for you to dodge, I was tired and just beelined the end of the game. Maxed out the bonds and wrapped it all up.

Definitely overrated. Not bad, but overrated.
>>
>>738709404
I don't expect literacy from third worlders anyway. I accept your concession.
>>
>>738709524
You're not welcome
>>
>>738709492
That's kind of why it worked. It a mid game but astrosurfed to hell and back. Unlike other games that get like mixtape that has a super obvious disparity.
>>
>>738709492
>E33 was fine.
Really this. E33 is simply what FF should've been if the usual culprits stopped being pigheaded about their incessant need to "evolve the genrea". Evolve the genrea essentially means turning it into action game with floating numbers.

Here's a thought experiment for you all. Imagine that Devil May Cry 3 has the following:
> 9999 showing up on screen if you landed a DTE Rising Dragon/Royal Guard
> Detailed ability description that say exact damage numbers for all skills, say like WoW.
> Enemy have bars over their heads with HP instead of it being a stylized circle
Is DMC3 a action RPG or action game?

>>738709492
>fakeout attacks
Also this. Terms like souls fatigue and rollslop exist for a reason and not enough gamers made peace with the fact that Miyazaki punish sauce has outstayed its welcome, they cant, less their sausage contest is proven for what it is. Not that E33 is fully guilty of it mind you. E33 attacks are reasonably telegraphed with consistent visual or audio ques and same attack always have same timing. There's no dickish input reading, frame trapping, roll catching or delayed attacks.
>>
>>738706738
You think the French have money for that?
You think the French CARE? Usually they keep their kino to themselves
>>
>>738707163
>Through organic word of mouth marketing.
Nigga please. Nothing was "organic" about the threads on /v/ for this game, ever. Also reminder that there was already talk of a movie being made before the game came out, because it's such a organic small indie game success story.
>>
>>738709492
>>738710083
Holy shit I want to go to your dimension where games so amazing that E33 is mid. Here 99% of games of microtransaction hellslop for goycattle.

>>738710214
>doesn't know what indie means
>>
>>738710302
I know what indie means and E33 definitely doesn't deserve to he called that. It's an AA game, one with enough money and connections to get deepthroated on the same level as TLOU, Alan Woke 2 or God of Snoy at a industry circlejerk event.
>>
>>738708457
>The devs bought those themselves
With what money retard? Why wouldn't every publisher just buy a hundred billion copies of their games to make them seem succesful?
>The devs bought the TGA awards
Why didn't sony or nintendo do that? Both have way more money.
>and remembered they needed astroturfed hype, so things wouldn't look suspicious when they swept the awards. Many months later this "organic word of mouth marketing" happened
Nigger what? E33 was all over the board from a couple weeks after release to around january when it finally cooled off. Then it got a resurgence recently because people went to replay it on the anniversary. How new are you?
>Here's a pic of the most beautiful women from your country(caste) as consolation prize.
It seems you accidentally posted women from your country since we all know E33GODS are White and the seethers indian.

This thread reminded me that E33 exists. Game didn't have a lasting impact it seems, nobody even talks about it anymore.
