For people that haven't played it:>footsteps are rarely audible, if you hear them they sound like someone wakling on a carpet>Directional audio has been bugged since release and last time I played still wasn't fixed>when there is nothing happening, silence is as loud as a leaf blower>there is a crowd constantly cheering in the bg>when a team gets wiped it rings a bell 3x and players a fucking retarded ass buzzer in your ear and its' bound to the same volume control as actual GAME audio. You are effectively deaf when this happens>By default there are AI commentators yapping constantly. Fortunately you can turn this off.>There's no rhyme or reason to which broken hero-shooter abilities will make sound or not. Some mediocre abilities are loud, some oppressive 100% pickrate ones are quiet. No changes to this for 2 years. This is all in a game where you can be attacked from any direction, through walls, in gigantic non-linear maps. It's genuinely unplayable if you're not in a 3-stack with three pairs of eyes to make up for the lack of sound.
