Looped a minimum settings run. Chipless and time limit disabled. It was very calm and slow-paced, almost relaxing after the constant pressures of the PUNISHMENT PROTOCOL and normal trap spawns. But a little boring. I learned a lot about crafting. Also very lonely. The loot rate setting affects drop pod survivors too, and they were basically non-existent. Most of my items I crafted myself because loot was so rare. Layer 4 is normally very anxiety-inducing chipless because of the radiation, but with minimum traps I really didn't have to worry. There was no salad on Layer 5 but I was still attacked by 3 highly aggressive spiders. Layer 5 on minimum settings has a really cool vibe to it with the ambient sounds of the layer in the background. Makes you forget you're deep inside some hell planet and feels like you're out innawoods. The relative calmness also lets you enjoy the great music of Layer 5.I'm considering a max settings run next for maximum vibes whiplash and contrast. Tons of supplies but the traps and spiders get really crazy really fast. I've only reached layer 3 on max settings and that was nutty. I can only imagine the hells of layers 4 and 5 after that.
