I could shoot my ARs or my .22 all day and not be annoyed, but when I shot my shotgun with a 18.5 inch barrel it wasn't the recoil or the noise but like the concussion that bothered me. I shot someone's FAL and the same thing. the noise and recoil were fine but I didn't like the concussion. I got a 28 inch shotgun barrel. I should try that and sell the 18.5 inch barrel.
