Literally all the low hanging fruit tropes (competent woman/minority, the old white guy symbolically passing the torch to his young non-white replacement etc.), and of course they hired consultants for the story. A shame, I kind of liked the first Alan Wake, it was the right kind of corny that I loved Remedy for, it had Poets Of The Fall in it, it was neat, but no we can't have nice things, everything must be a vehicle for propaganda, all developers must kiss the ring.
