What CRPGs (modern or older) include soft, kind, warm and caring companions? Not all of them, just one - like Imoen (BG1) or Aerie (BG2)?
>>
Most CRPG enjoyers have fulfilling relationships and don't mind the absence of a plain Jane waifubait character.

OP here.
I'm just beyond tired of
- sarcastic realist
- trauma survivor
- morally "complex"
- misundestood evil
and similar modern day bs.

There's not many of them. Alistair in Dragon Age Origins, Eder in Pillars of Eternity, Tristian Pathfinder Kingmaker. Obviously, it depends a lot on your choices.

Thanks, man. Any girls? I have to say, decent men are not as rare, even today.

'ROGUE' you mentally ill freak
>>
>>738726474
characters like aerie are rarer in videogames in general due to the need for most of them to engage in some form of violence or intrigue
>imoen
genki girls are rather common

Does not apply, every single one has a stick up their ass except you can take it out of Abelard

NTA, but modern-day female "trauma survivors" characters have their trauma become the central core of their personalities, and are usually written to have men or some other sociopolitical event be the cause of said traumas. Then, because of that, they channel their trauma into getting some payback from those groups and it becomes the central focus for their storyline arcs throughout the entire story. It's different from Aerie or Imoen who have been physically/mentally-scarred but despite that still try to stay sweet and/or don't make revenge their sole reason for living.

OP here.
YOu got me. But I think you get he point. I've had it with Laezel's, muscle mommys and "i'm a cleric of utter evil, but just misguided". I've had it.

I can't really think of any characters like that, closest is...Karlach, I guess? But Gortash being a man doesn't really have any importance for selling her out, its not like they were dating or anything, he was her boss.
>who have been physically/mentally-scarred but despite that still try to stay sweet
actually this sounds exactly like karlach now that I think about it, so there you go OP another example
