They got it right in Eventide Island, where you want to maximize the use of every weapon you have and then throw it away to acquire more, and don't give a fuck about preservation because you're going to replace everything anyway, so weapon pickups are treated like ammo in a level based FPS.All the problems with people worrying about using up tools should be solved by giving players reliable ways of restoring weapons they like, similar to how the champion weapons work. Everyone who suggests adding 'blacksmiths' who'd repair weapons you're holding as an absolute retard who'd encourage players to hold onto and hoard equipment as hard as possible, missing the point.
