You can't just force GaaS into every genre. The service has to be wanted and only 2 have really shown to prevail.

Gacha generally falls here, warframe and the most egregious, full priced sports games with yearly releases.

Devs trying anything else is retarded, and service market is already saturated as fuck. You really need something special to break into the market, and should be heavily testing besides your shitty internal focus groups who kiss ass.
