>>738739028High skill ceiling. People will cry that YGO is a coinflip game but that's only true like 30% of the time and there's actually a ton of complexity to it paired with an extremely fast moving meta game that makes it hard to keep up. Lawyer game is a way more accurate description.

>>738739554When I got sick of the game because of link cancer in 2018 I started running chain burn at locals (with chain energy and triple marshmallon and marshmacaron lol) and the amount of rage and vitriol generated in people you play against is insane. Even if I wasn't winning people would get genuinely aggressive. It really brought out the worst in my opponents (who were cunts anyway and part of the reason I was quitting at the time). Somewhat scary experience. It was as if people were more mad about the idea of playing against burn than the actual experience of it. Chain Energy was hilarious against the modern decks tho lol.

Winning with a shit deck against meta players just because you got lucky hard draws or you play some cards they've never seen before is fun.
