Why didn't overwatch catch on like marvel rivals did?

>>738740014It's literally at 60k 24h peak, had 100k at season start and tapered off like every game does late season, and primarily is played on battlenet. Saying "it died" a year after release tells me everything I need to know. A year in overwatch was so big it was literally on ESPN as a sport.
It did untill Bridgette and the shield Meta. Then it lost tons of players and OW2 killed it.

The anniversary skins are absolutel garbage. Does anyone have any insight about how i could get the lich king skin for rein? Ive heard you can get it through regular lootboxes but im not 100% sure

The game originally came out in 2016.Its what they did towards the end of the 1st game's lifespan with Briggite and Echo that torched the online and then everything they soon did with the "second" game that ruined it's chances.Activision badly pushed complete greed onto what was left of Blizzard.
