But either way no one was thinking wow ive never seen images like this before they were literally just thinking "this looks sick" and thats it. in the same way that a country should have a sick flag because its the first impression of a country, a console should have a really cool logo because it symbolizes the console itself. so if the logo looks lame and boring and low effort it communicates that the console was made with the same approach. The UI when you operate the console should be cool also to remind the user theyre doing something fun and theyre using a machine which isnt for watching netflix or browsing social media. unfortunately thats part of he downfall of consoles is them cramming this pointless shit into it turning it into an everything box for everyone and its not surprising that the consoles lose their identity and feel generic after that.you might say why does any of that matter, and really unless a console can offer you some level of a unique experience theres no reason to buy one over just making a gaming computer. and that experience starts with the good logo and the creative and interesting UI which shouldnt resemble something gay like modern windows or mac shit at all.
