Summer Game Fest is the closest thing there is to E3 and while there are press days for that week, there's sadly no show floor to try games, see booth babes and thus no kino coverage you saw G4, gamespot, IGN rush to take on. It's all closely tied to what ever Geoff and the console manufacturers want you to see which is drilled down to the games themselves at this point (that much is fine) but that means there's no shenanigans allowed.
