Is Hades 2 really the greatest roguelike of all time?
nopestill diablo 2
>>738751127These images with a smattering of 10/10s and 5/5s don't really mean anything in an age where paying off journalists for positive reviews is so easy. Feels like almost every game gets this kind of image.
oh right I have this on gamepass
>>738751127it's shit
>>738751127no just woke bonus points and shilled for trans representationhttps://imgbox.com/g/HYVNkdYg9P
>>738751127No it's barely better if at all better than Hades 1 which in itself is shalow and outdated compared to the roguelikes that have come after it. I feel like calling Hades 2 a 7/10 would be generous.
>>738751127Nah, I've played during early access and didn't play fully when it was finished but it's a great and fun game from a gameplay point. I also love to use mods which give you more abilities and perks each time because it's fun. Characters and dialogues are retarded and DEI/ESG filled, many of them are different kind of faggotry for MoDeRn AuDiEnCe. Gameplay really saves it, and I loved boss fights and their music. So I'd say it's a solid 7/10 game. Fun enough to play and tolerate faggotry, maybe could be better if they added more mechanics and new abilities
>>738751127Not even the best Hades game
>>738751127no, it's a great game but not particularly great as a roguelike specifically
>>738751127All of those 10/10s and I found it way less interesting, engaging, and fun than the original. I got to the zone after the underwater place and got so bored I dropped it and never looked back.
>>738751127>endgame / postgame nosedive in quality and replayabilitythe journey to the ending was still a pretty good time. I thought the first Hades was more interesting / fun at the time of release.
not a roguelike
It's better than Hades 1, but it's still really cookie-cutter with each weapon having a BIS build
