No, it's a remake of the GBA spiritual sequel to that game.

I played DK '94 as a kid but never beat it until a couple years ago. It's really cool with the Super Game Boy enhancements.

I did. Own it on the 3DS and it is incredible on the 3DS. Not sure why you'd want it on the Switch though considering it liberally used both screens.
