It's not about just working, it's about actually working, being comfortable as fuck and having every button and wheel you could possibly want. MX Master is an office mouse, not a gaming mouse.

>>
>>738767126
MX Master has been my go to for a couple revisions. Think even the first model was at least. $100

>>738769840
Probably a price bump right before it goes on sale though. They love doing that.

That's not a gamer mouse, and it's just Amazon pricing being stupid, it's msrp everywhere else.
>>
i had a logitech mouse for two years and it kept breaking. it happened to me TWICE. just get a office mouse nigger
>>
>>738767126
Better off with a 502x if you want a mouse for gaming, this shits missing 4 extra mouse buttons. A horizontal scroll wheel you're never going to use ain't worth that. And the polling rate sucks ass. It's 125hz. We've got mice with 8khz now, and 1000hz is the standard for gaming mice.

>Wireless, Logitech

Literal trash.
Wireless is half duplex. It cannot send and receive signals at the same time. There is always inherent lag that is nonexistent on wired.
>>
>>738767126
God damn. I got one for work because I have to do a lot of quick scrolling. Otherwise it’s just a mouse. I don’t see it making a difference gaming
>>
>>738772374
next he's going to tell us why his ps/2 ibm model m keyboard plugged into a usb adapter has less lag than your keyboard

A decent mechanical keyboard and gaming mouse are $30 USD. There are people who waste more money in vapes

That's not a gaming mouse.

>buy this mouse for my work MBP cus all the tech shills said it was 'the best'
>it was absolutely god awful in every aspect, sent it back immediately
professionaltards have no idea what they're talking about, you can get a $35 light wireless gaming mouse that eclipses this clunky piece of turd
>>
>>738770742
I had two separate G403s that broke on me within a year and a half of owning them (One got double-clicking, the other just stopped working at all when plugged in, even took it apart to see if anything happened and nothing) and I currently have a Razer Basilisk since it was on sale at the time and it has a mousewheel that constantly goes up and down. The worst part is everyone keeps trying to push wireless mice when I just want a normal wired one so I don't know what to do for a budget mouse that isn't straight up an office mouse but also not a $150 gamer mouse.
>>
>paying that much for a mouse that misses a wire

>price bump before sale
yeah i got hit by this with a monitor once years ago saw it was 40% off picked it up, it went back up to pre-sale price then after 2 weeks dropped to what i paid as a standard price, looked into history and it was jacked up a few weeks before the sale. that was my lesson for that shit, solid monitor though

If you're lazy like me you don't have to. I just open the switch and replace the mechanical spring/contact.
I keep a bunch of cheap mice for donor parts, the most absurd thing is none of the switches I've fixed ever double-clicked again and so far they've lasted far longer than the original.

Fucking Razer discontinued the Nostromo line of one-handed keypads. Now all they have is the shitty Tartarus that's covered in fucking rainbow RBG lights and costs $130. Disgraceful.

All the companies' PC game paraphernalia is worse and double or triple the old prices. All of it. I could go back in time to 2012 and get premium shit, better than 2026 crap for fucking 1/4 the price. Fucking sidewinder keyboards that would last your whole life for $40. MMO mice that actually had working macros and assignable buttons for $50. HEADPHONES THAT WEREN'T PIECES OF SHIT THAT STOP GETTING AUDIO FROM THE JACK AFTER SIX MONTHS OF USE.

Fuck me. Why is everything worse?

Is this the one that permanently bricked itself any time it came within 2 feet of a Bluetooth signal - which was known and acknowledged in a whitepaper Logitech put out, and they did nothing about it? I had this happen twice to the same model, the first covered under warranty, the second not. Never buying their garbage again.

>>
>>738774972
Why? It has an issue where if you grip a certain way/too tight it will trigger a mouse click. Also we have no idea about the longevity of the build quality, the scroll wheel issue that's in every piece of shit "premium" mouse is still there. Plus a Chinese brand is most likely a month away from making the same cheap quality of any logistics/razer except for 1/4th the price.

I bought mostly in smaller denominations so I can just sell it at a dealer and use the cash. Will eventually trade it for currency once fiat dies.
>>
>>738767126
Unfortunately mine has started power cycling sometimes when I use the scroll wheel, apparently it might just be a lose connector but it seems kind of annoying to open the mouse.
One day I'll get a girlfriend with a hair dryer (or buy a heat gun) and take off the adhesive feet covering the screws.
