Metroid Prime is just like The Matrix, nobody actually likes a single game in the series past the first one and yet they just keep asking for more for some reason. And then the fourth one came out like 20 years after the previous one and they acted surprised when the audience wasn't there anymore. In retrospect I understand why they would have been interested in pulling a new audience but companies need to learn you don't have to put a number in the title and scare away people who might have played it otherwise.
Echoes was just as good as the first game.

Honestly, Prime wasn't even that great. It starts off fun but then gets really tedious and unfun. And I'm not talking about the Chozo Artifact hunt I'm talking about around after Phendrana Drifts the game just becomes a chore to play. Super and AMR2 are the only good Metroid games so Nintendo should just stick to making 2D Metroids. Just thought you'd like to know. Thanks for asking.

This could change though. It seems like video game movies are the next big trend replacing superhero movies, so they have the opportunity to bring a lot of new fans in with those.
