I've been obsessed with non-emulated, native backwards compatibility, and brought the minimum amount of machines to achieve it accordingly.I'm short a PS2 and PS1, but the official emulation on PS3 is often near-perfect. My Vita can play PSP games natively, even fan-translated ones. My Wii U plays Gamecube injected roms natively through its hardware in vWii mode, with access to handheld play, and the completely stutterfree audio and smoothness playing Sonic Heroes like that is a dream. But it can't do rumble :/3DS plays back Nintendo DS games perfectly although its screen is worse for it. You get less ghosting with the better LCD, but the scaling is like 1.25x or some shit and has to be pixel-filtered, or you just hold SELECT to get native-pixel mode. I also have a real DS but I prefer stuffing my 3DS because it can also play Widescreen and use Circlepad for analog control in games using cheat codes that maps their in-game functionality to the Circle pad.Otherwise yeah, Switch V1 is a great modded console, to the point where it's a much cheaper alternative (if you already have one) to buying a Deck. You get massive support on many things, but I can't say it's worth it when the Switch Jailbreak has to be redone every time it runs out of battery when you haven't used it in weeks, or if you get crashes. It's one of the most unstable HB environments I've experienced and because of that I stopped using it. Because the experience playing PC games over Moonlight or playing games on many of the ported emulators is great, along with the many Nude Mods you can sideload to legitimate Switch games.But I already have 1:1 gamecube emulation on Wii U, so why bother with like a 80% performant mode on Switch?
