Is he a soul caliber character or a tekken character? I've only played SC2 and I played him in that, but I've seen him in tekken games but never knew where he came from initially

>>738772905I never played him in SC but in Tekken he's extremely unorthodox and not particularly strong, but he has a bunch of things you'd never expect someone to use or do, very fun to play and a pretty unique playstyle in fighting games
i played a lot of yoshi in t8 s1 but i kinda dropped off the game for a while and when i went back i decided to pick up lars instead

>>738773454>>738773454He isn't nearly as unorthodox as before, they gave him the standard "universal launcher", buffed Flash a ton so it's considerably easier to hit, gave him easier ways to maintain a combo and T8 as a game isn't as favorable to his defensive stuff so people barely, if ever, use them anymoreBasically, he had a big rework, he was a very defensive and reactive character before, and in T8 is considerably more aggressive and more "normal", but they might've reworked him because of the nature of the game itself

Somehow this guy became my main in tekken 8 after starting with steve, then going to jun and finally settling on Yoshi.For the record. I've never played a fighting game before. So ending up on this box of tricks character sure was interesting.Really miss playing him. Having such a massive kit of things to throw at my opponent was right up my alley. But the game just made me too angry eventually
