Will your favorite gacha company release a real game someday?
>he doesnt knowKek
>>738779739No Pearl Abyss? Korean MMOs are basically gacha so they should be in the Almost Certain tier after the release of Crimson Desert.
>muh real gamesseethe harder unc
>>738779739
>>738779845I miss puzzle dragons ngl, what are they doing rn?
>best revenue generating game company in the world>never once tried to make an actual non gacha game with proper endings and gameplay>even their passion project is a soulless gachaWhat the fuck was their problem?
>>738779739Shift up made stellar blade which is a very real game.
>>738779739Cygames already did for both GBF and Shadowverse.
>>738780081Sloppa blade
>>738779867its still going powercrept to hell and overcomplicated.the gameplays still good but if you actually care its shit. its fun if you just want to connect orbs for a few minutes and dont actually care if you win or not.theres so much bullshit that requires minmaxed teams or instakills you cause you didnt look up a guide. the balancing is trash. they got really generous with free gems.
>>738780387Depressing.
Is this image true for mihoyo?
>>738779739All gacha companies should get the nuclear bomb -treatment.
>>738779739>nexon not in never ever tier Fake
What’s a real game to you?
>>738780581Nexon made ARC raiders
>>738780081Yeah but they're also making a new gacha
>>738779739IS released real games since the NES :)
I don't get why Mihoyo triggers so many people. It's just a gatcha company that happened to make something that went really big.
>>738779739some of these already did, you retard
>>738780690and they are also making a new sequel to Stellar Blade, something other gacha devs haven't been able to. They are also funding Mikami's new studio
>>738780865Nice ragebait
>>738780647>>738780581Nexon made Khazan, despite the sad result. They still tried, compared to at least Mihoyo who's never going out of the gacha space.
>>738780001Honkai Impact became a soulless cash grab to make the true passion project Genshin Impact.Genshin Impact became a soulless cash grab to make the true passion project Honkai Star Rail.Honkai Star rail became a soulless cash grab to make the true passion project ZZZ.ZZZ became a soulless cash grab to make the true passion project -And it goes on and on and on
>>738780972They seems to have the mindset where all of their games has to be gacha to earn money but all gachas bound to be soulless
>>738779739lollmao
>>738779830KMMOs aren't real gachas because they aren't fully daily gated well i guess now they are between maple and bdo weeklies and still have mostly traditional MMORPG menus instead of whatever the fuck abomination layered menu hells china and korea made up with these modern gacha games. Also the combat in gacha games never has any intricacy which wouldn't be a problem if they were actual mmos whereas koreans are provably autistic about trying to innovate with combat systems.
>>738781070>still have mostly traditional MMORPG menus instead of whatever the fuck abomination layered menu hells china and korea made up with these modern gacha gamesI'd take the cookiecutter mihoyo menus over BDO any time. That shit literally put me off from the game because there's menus for your menus and it's gotten so bad that even the ui/ux editor that's supposed to clean up the clutter is a complete nightmare to navigate. The only other mmo with a much worse menu is Where Winds Meet.
>>738779830ok we get it anon you love Crimson Desert and you really want to talk about it everywhere but I'm sure there's a dedicated thread for it somewhere here or on vg>whenever Crimson Desert is not being discussed all the other anons should be asking "but what about Crimson Desert tho?"
>>738781140I have legitimately never had that issue with BDO, but meanwhile I see the average random tab target game UI and it's pure chaos. I'm saying this as someone who couldn't stomach WWMs UI. I'm not denying BDO isn't suffering from bloat but it goes as any regular MMO does these days which all suffer from the same shit. The only gacha style games I've ever played were blue protocol and wwm and both of them had such a miserably annoying menu stacked hell that I just gave up after a couple weeks. They all suffer from the same thing modern Destiny does where it's a bunch of huge ass full screen graphic menus layered on top of each other in an almost mobile game manner where it's all obnoxious to interact with. I could probably put up with picrel faster than I could put up with another gacha style menu design
>>738779739Success breeds jealousy, thread #7236.
>>738780493yes, having millions of concurrent players every day and making billions means your games are bad actually
>>738781434In BDO's case, it's often because the game, especially to someone coming back or starting as a beginner, is just completely bloated and arcane. The game constantly throws new mechanics at you at a point where the only thing a player might be interested would be equipment menus, stat menus, skill menus and a quest log. There's shit like farming, fishing, basebuilding, stables, and other various auxiliary menus for the games dozen side activities that game has since added over the decade that somehow needs to be monitored all the time. But I guess this is simply the curse of any long lived live service game. Warframe to an extent is also a bloated mess of features.
>>738781491>>738781558Heres your (you)
>>738779739But they already did? What is this garbage
>>738781650Thanks, but why are they covered in your tears?
>>738779739I've lost hope for PM to release another real game
>>738781706Those are semen
>>738781969yum!
>>738781969What is your little sister doing on /v/?
>Japanese/Korean devs>likely>Chinese devs >maybe at bestI see a pattern here
>>738782907It has something to do with chinese gaming culture. For the most part of the 2000s and 2010s, china doesn't really have a console gaming scene. They mostly played on PCs, so this reflects on the type of games that their developers make for them. Even today, most chinks play live service games so there really isn't a big market for single player games. As for korea, they don't have big local gaming community, which is why you see them make games either for asia (stellar blade) or the west (crimson desert).
>>738783158China mostly plays games on their smartphones
>>738779739Where's my blobber?
>>738779739There's also MICA
>>738783925Who
>>738784880Girls' Frontline
>>738779739Where is the Kantai Collection video game?
>>738781558This but without a hint of irony or insincerity. If your media product is popular and profitable, it is almost certainly psychologically predatory dogshit.
Stellar blade is the best game in the past few years.
>PM>making real gameAHAHAHAHAHA, one the day when they released trailer for Limbus Company I walked into thread, saw Apple Store logo and realized it’s mobile gacha shit.Didn’t even watch a trailer itself despite waiting a year for it.Death to PM, death to Director and death to gacha games
