I watched a streamer play it yday (big m) and thought it was entertaining. I liked the twist. The gameplay is really ass obviously since its a movie game, esp the hiding part. Kinda makes me want to play their other games, only played Until Dawn way back, it was pretty good imo (any recs). Watching or playing these type of games makes no difference though.

This sucks. I was just watching some of it and its basically Alien but the women are just bland cardboard cut outs with thinly veiled lesbian leanings. Lines sound like they are just read off a script. One thing that demonstrates the bad writing is that they said a brief word for someone that had died and called him a good worker and a friend. Like that's all the character depth and back story they could imagine.

Okay so I just made it to episode 5 and here is what I have to say about this game so far. First it runs worse than any other title I have ever played before in my life, something like straight up 40fps on a 5080, so framegen is pretty much forced down your throat to even run it at all unless you turn off raytracing, not even dlss performance will save you. Second, most of the decisions so far have been completely inconsequential to the point where they only exist to define some arbitrary character trait mechanic so they can larp between two possible personalities, and do not affect the stories outcome at all. Beyond that, the rest of it is just the typical c- tier scifi writing where nothing makes any fucking sense.
