Then Adventure fucked it all up and tarnished the series reputation. Assault could have salvaged it but the campaign was thrown together last minute and the on foot gameplay was just ok. Great arwing levels though. 3DS was put on a at the time, floundering system and didn't offer much in the way of new content, zero had gimmicky controls that no one wanted and felt half-baked. Hell, the best thing to come out of starfox since then was Starlink Battle for Atlas. They got the crew down pat and were very much a part of the plot, but TTL games were already dead by the time it came out so it was even more doomed than zero. Makes an full blown remake of 64 is the way to go.
