tomodachi life has absolutely zero censorship but no online, you have full control of what characters exist on your island, but its basically just a sandbox.animal crossing has actual stuff to do in the world, but it's mostly pretty shallow resource collection. the villagers are a lot more shallow, but the island/interior decoration is more in-depth.never played pokopia

>>738833372Pokopia is more in depth than Animal Crossing. Take turning on a lamp. In Pokopia, you need to collect materials, to build a windmill, to setup a power line, in range of a lamp. And that lamps brightness may or may not impact the habitat preferences of the pokemon around you (zubat, for example, would be pissed). In Animal Crossing, you buy a lamp, you place it, you turn it on. If you don't have as much time as you'd like, and may turn away from a game for being too big, stay with Animal Crossing. Tomodachi Life (only played the original one) is more Sims-ish. I want to put Eggman and Mother Teresa in the same town to throw beans at my cat Lester.
