no dummy, Gen Xers and Baby Boomers were the young adults in the 90s
>>738834797Probably explains why this game doesn't feel like 1999 at all and why it get so much shit wrong, like wireless headphones, cassettes, 80's skateboards, etc.
starting to get zoomer fatigue and it is mainly because of certain millennials enabling them
>>738835067you will never be a 90s teen little nigga
>>738834797Nothing in this interactive movie looks anything like the 90s.
I don't remember the 90s being gay and full of they/thems
STOP SHILLING YOUR SCHLOMO-NEPO BABY'S ASTROTURFED TROONSLOP YOU SHITSKIN PAJEET NIGGER!
>>738835002There aren't actually wireless headphones in the game... Right?
>>738834797They couldn't have done much of a worse job at depicting the 90s.
Tjat would be a fair point, if this game was actually about the 90's and not the early 2010's pretending to be the 90's.
>>738835067>thread about how millenials were painted niggers again>ITS THE LE FUCKING MILLENIALS!!! XD
>>738835885radio phones existed though
>>738834797Zoomers and society as a whole give genx a free pass which is absurd because theyre all smug cocksuckers irl too cool to take anything seriously including raising their children (zoomers)
>>738834797I don't mean to sound like a retard who was totally born in le wrong generation but what will people have to be nostalgic over this decade? COVID?The way I see it, radio music hasn't played decent music in over 14 years. The quality of mainstream music and AAA gaming has gotten to bad that people try to cope by saying "there are still good games! You just gotta look indie/at the underground scene" and are completely blind to the real complaint. There are barely any original movies coming out. Rent is increasing and jobs are being stolen left and right by H1B and AI. The price of housing is going up and the president says he has no care when it comes to lowering it. If anything, this will be the decade when young americans started to realize how shitty everything is. Almost all zoomers are nostalgic for the past because the present has nothing for them and they feel disenfranchised
>>738834797It's such a shilled game that a supposed indie project that hadn't possibly been out for a week by now ALREADY has a PlayStation version on the way. It's all so tiresome...
>>738838402Gen X is just delayed Boomers, unironically. They vote CHUD just like Boomers because "muh taxes/paycheck" while 20-40% of them are struggling like Millennials and Zoomers to afford rent/buy a house. The simple fact is: They're retards and it's thanks to the Lead Paint they chewed as infants.>>738838818>this will be the decade when young americans started to realize how shitty everything is.>Zoom Zoom doesn't know of Operation Wallstreet.LMAO. The generation before you realized they were FUCKED due to Obama ages before you were born, kiddo. Trust me, the economy has been shit since Bush fucked it up and Obummer never fixed it.
>>738839068shitlennials still happily died in afghanistan despite supposedly knowing how bad it was, it's okay to admit your generation is full of retarded inbreds.
>>738838818>people try to cope by saying "there are still good games! You just gotta look indie/at the underground scene" and are completely blind to the real complaintand what is the real complaint?
>>738839162That mainstream gaming and music used to at least be decent. No amount of "dude just look at indie" will fix that
I was born in '93, I hardly remember much from the '90s; I'm more nostalgic for the years 2000 to 2010.
>>738839107Only the oldest millennials born in the early 80s went to Afghanistan the rest were too young during the war.
>>738834797Mixtape is not meant to be accurate nostalgia simulator, it just uses the 90s setting to tell a story about music, friendship and youth.
>>738834797>Baby Boomers were the young adults in the 90sThe oldest of the Baby Boomers were literally 50 in the mid 90s you fucking moron.
MILLENIALS WILL NOW REALIZE THAT EVERY SHITTY "GENERATION" AKA THE GEN XERS AND OTHERS THAT WERE BEFORE THEM LITERALLY SHOVED THE DUMBEST SHIT IN THEIR FACES AND NO ONE COULD TELL IT WAS THE GEN XERS. FIRST WE COULD TELL THE BOOMERS AND THE BABY BOOMERS WERE SHIT. THE GEN XERS WILL COME NEXT AND THEN SOON THE TERRIBLE ZOOMERS
Cassette tapes were around plenty in the 90s that's not inaccurate. Basically everything surrounding the tape is, but the tape itself being there is fine.
>>738834797>Baby Boomers were the young adults in the 90s
>>738834797>Expecting a game about punks>they’re not even punks, just girls in the 90sStop letting rich people make games. Go play bomb rush cyberpunk instead.
>>738839545They got phased out for CDs pretty quickly people hated having to rewind and flip them over.
>>738835067Ironically I think zoomers would portray this game better, they're more obsessed with the '90s than millennials are. Millennials were more nostalgic for the '80s
>>738838818It's the flaws people actually get nostalgic over. Nothing is exemplifies this more than what people love about old media, scratchy sound of vinyl, blocky 3d characters of early 3d etc. In most of the world, the 70s were a time of similar dire economic circumstances. Yet there's a lot of people who were nostalgic for them. Same thing with Russians coming out making soviet/slavic depression core an entire genre. It's actually rarely the good people end up being nostalgic over, because it's typically the stuff everyone likes to remember already.
>>738839914Not really, because CDs had a portability problem. They were around and it was not uncommon to see a circle of kids sitting around a discman at lunchtime. But the walkman and cassette tapes were still extremely common throughout the early 90s. MP3s obliterated everything almost instantly though.
>>738834797lmao baby boomers were already unc status in the 90s
>>738834797Can anyone who likes LiS comment on this?
>>738835067>The only people glazing this game are gen x games journalists who peaked in high school 30 years ago>Mayne it be the muhfuggen zoomers n shiet
>>738840726I never played LIS, I only jerked off to the porn
>>738834797The 90s was never like this. This is what someone born post-9/11's view of the 90s was like.
>>738835067Nah we're rightfully shitting on this game for being Oracle funded nostalgiaslop. Might wanna get that zoomer derangement syndrome treated unc, fr fr
still not buyingenjoy your flop
Post the cassette.
>>738840748But it is zoomers who never had those moments in their own life and are romanticizing what they have seen in shit like breakfast club and superbad. Find me a person in their mid 40s/50s, who praise this shit.
Anyone here played it?
>>738834797It's broccoli head nostalgia bait, they all love to appropriate the 90s even though they were all born in 2006 lol.
>>738834797The blonde girl reminds me of an actress I dislike in every movie she appears in. No idea what her name is though
>more threads than game sales or playersShalom
>>738841525Yeah I watched asmon watch it.
>>738841309>But it is zoomers who never had those moments in their own life and are romanticizing what they have seen in shit like breakfast club and superbadProjection so clear I can see it in HD>Find me a person in their mid 40s/50s, who praise this shit.I can find you a bunch of people in their mid 30s who do.
>>738841781>I can find you a bunch of people in their mid 30s who do.>romanticizing what they have seen in shit like breakfast club and superbad
>>738840778Damn you should. Max is incredibly cute and the story is great if you’re in a movie mood
>>738841525Yes and it's not a game. It's first and foremost a cartoon. You listen and watch most of the time.
>>738841309>and superbadSuperbad is zoomercore its like the quintessential zoomer comedy that isnt American psycho/fight club
>>738840748>stare at the ceiling with a buddy talking about lifeFess up, did you people actually do this?
>>738842224Maybe retroactively. Like millennials are jerking off ferris bueller(when american pie was our shit) and genx with the graduate instead of risky business. And zoomers are going all the way back to the early 90s. Go figure.
>>738842487No, as an American I sat around the fire in the evening, but billionaires fear fire so they’ve never had that experience.
>>738839882What’s funny is that Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is a better story about friendship despite barely having a narrative.
