Could this be the most overrated game of all time?I think people don't hate Tears of the Kingdom enough.
It's a better game than BotW in a vacuum but is a far more disappointing game, it should have been way better and playing BotW first makes the experience significantly worse due to the map reuse
it would have been much better received if it was not in the shadow of BotW

i'll let you in on the secret:a bunch of people skipped BOTW and only played TOTK. that's why they didn't get burned out or care that most of the map was recycled.
Building things and fooling around with it was definitely more fun than the main plot.
