I bought Gigabyte G34WQC2 which has a good fast VA panel. And it still looks like absolute fucking ASS and smears like a motherfucker. It's so distracting it's barely playable due to constant flickering and black smearing. It's too bad that there's no equivalent IPS monitor here because I'd buy one. The only good VAs that are decent for games are those from Samsung, because they solved the dark level smearing somehow, but there's still the other issue of va like the VRR flickering.Buy the Pulsar ips even if it's expensive. There's nothing else worth buying. Oled TVs used to be great but not anymore unless you find user models from ~2022 like the LGC1, those are amazing for gaming.

Only good VA monitor was the Samsung Odyssey G7, crystal clear even at 240hz and not a hint of VA smear.I really liked that model, too bad it was curved.
I've had 2 IPS monitors and both of them had a weird scanline effect in motion and especially when running below native refresh like with VRR or a console plugged in or even when I just tilt my head a bit. Absolutely unplayable, almost like the games were running at half res.
