Then while exploring you will come across technology fragments you scan to unlock blueprints for new tools, building parts, etc. While exploring human wreckage sites for scannable fragments, you should also be on the lookout for the resources needed to craft the flippers & standard oxygen tank to allow you to stay underwater longer. The air bladder is a good tool you should use to explore early game as well.

the ability to make stuff from lockers/storage nearby is a HUGE improvement. no more sorting through 100 portable lockers or whatever. just store it somewhat nearby.also getting food in schools of fish is nice, 4 per group or so. and the water fish are on the ground to scoop up.
