I had lost the fun in gaming too, but recently got it back by trying out a genre I had never played before: Visual Novels and similar stuff.

I can really recommend: The Coffin of Andy and Leyley, Slay the Princess, and Little Misfortune.
Scarlet Hollow is ok too, but made for women and gays.

Quest 3 headset did the trick for me and I don't even have a computer that is capable of VR so I have been playing games that work on that mobile chip t. 32yo
