I just started 4 and damn is it hard. I went back to 1 and played a few middle levels to recheck my memory. Native Fortress, Road to Nowhere, Temple Ruins and yes 4 is way harder. To be fair if you just sprint to the finish and ignore crates, it's not so bad. No way I'm 100% 4, I don't have that much patience.

You could clear the classic trilogy twice, maybe thrice over before you clear 4 once, and have orders of magnitude more fun doing it. Get the flashback tapes and that's it, it's the only collectible that's actually relevant. Maybe grab whatever costumes you think look neat while you're at it.

granted its designed around how he plays, but that's still retarded, because almost every stage has over 100 crates while almost no levels in the original trilogy had more than 60 with cold hard crash being the outlier
