Too bad for the games that rng seems to be the biggest contributor to game results. Watched my kid play NHL 26 and saw the goalie glove down a shot, covered it in front of himself, then moved the puck into the net(which counted as a goal) as the rng said that shot was going to be a goal. Works in reverse to woth goalies making physically impossible saves because the algorithm said that shot cant be a goal.

>>738860690The actual game even in 2026 is ultra fun, but the issue is that the most played mode is the nigger one with the magic cards that literally makes your players worse if the opposing team's players are the magic kind. I've had Cruyff kick off, sprint past 5, and no matter what buttons I press, he will score a goal for no reason. Whoever leads in the game will 100% concede a goal at some point. It's so blatantly scripted it kills your will to live. The actual game with the actual players is purely skill, magic shit doesn't happen there, and to this day I have no idea why actual competitive tournaments don't play the real game and play the card game instead.
