The cringe didn't particularly bother me, it's not that tryhard in my opinion, but it's incredibly obnoxious in how much it gets in your way. Cutscenes upon cutscenes, all unskippable, with the most boring ass narrative you could think of. Tokyo Xtreme Racer is enhanced by the little visual novel aspect, this is made way worse. The game does its absolute best to not let you play for the first few hours.Not sure if it gets better after the first few, I couldn't stomach it and just dropped it.
