I liked this janky ass game and wish there was more high budget post-apocalyptic lvdo out there that wasn't tied to moviegames like Last of Us or Walking Dead
Never seen anyone else mention this game. I just remember playing it on Xbox live arcade and feeling disappointed cause the trailer made it look so cool
>>738873024I made a thread about this exact game last week and I was surprised at the amount of replies it got...I didn't think anybody on /v/ even played this shit or liked it. I liked the whole crafting/inventory managing aspect of it, along with the stamina system, although I do think it could've been refined a bit better. Story is mostly garbage though because they changed so much from the original game I believe.
>>738874183>craftingI meant scavenging. I wish we could get something like TLOU when it comes to scavening/crafting/managing inventory but without the forced LGBT shit.
>>738873024I only know this game because it was one of Jerma's early videos where he gets annoyed at how every encounter is enemies just cartoonishly appearing behind pillars like they've been waiting in a random derelict dust filled room for hours for someone to enter from the specific place the MC does.
>>738873024i remember seeing this game and thought the idea was coolPlayed it and it just ended, like "Oh yea he died btw"So odd they even bothered releasing it
Game was in a bit of a dev hell back then, was announced in like 2006 and didn't come out 'til around 2011. I remember the OG trailer for the game was wildly different, with sand instead of ash and with the MC dressed in office worker clothes. All these years later, I still find the mechanic of lying your way through an encounter by pointing an unloaded gun at enemies to be incredibly cool, as well as the whole stamina climbing system. It had soul.
>>738873024This was a cool game.>captcha Oh no...
>>738873024I know in this game at one point you obtain what is heavily implied to be a chunk of human flesh and you can eat it to regain stamina or health or whatever with no repercussions.
