Goldeneye was seriously hampered by it's controls and is only good in the context in which it was released.Halo 2 improves on CE in every way other then weapon balance, and I'd probably say 3, ODST, and Reach are better too, even just purely comparing their campaigns and core MP and not giving 3 and Reach bonus points for their forge, customization, better visuals etc, though CE had better 4v4 MP maps then 3 and Reach
