Saros, every gun has haptics, switching to the 2nd weapon ability is done by holding the left trigger halfway, a full press activates the energy weapon
>>
>>738875534
>>738875808
oh you mean pc, returnal does it aswell
>>
>>738875808
Not PC at the moment but I see returnal is so I'll check that out.
>>
>>738875534
SH2R was much better with them, also RE9 just got dualsense support too, haven't tried it yet though

Pragamata

That has nothing to do with adaptive triggers. Adaptive triggers is about changing resistance and how hard you have to press to activate them. You're talking about analog triggers.
>>
>>738876058
but the left trigger is harder to press. Uncharted LoT collection uses has a perma hard to press right trigger aswell

i play games on my ps5. i turned adaptive triggers and all the vibrations off. it's annoying as fuck.
>>
>>738876167
You sound gay
>>
>>738876154
Ok then, but you hadn't mention that
>>
>>738876167
This. Easy 2 more hours of battery life just like that, too.
>>
Wtf is the difference between haptic feedback and adaptiver triggers?
>>
>>738876303
my ps5 sits next to my pc up it's plugged in all the time.
>>
>>738875534
Warhammer, Spiderman,death stranding
But the controller will break fast and the battery is a meme
>>
>>738876327
The vibration is way different and the triggers push back change the level of force used.
It's really something when it's done right but very few game have it.
>>
>>738876295
i would make a webm but my hands are brown and itd get memed
>>
>>738876586
Just wash your hands
>>
>>738876295
ah ok i see, my bad. I thought they were the same thing. Good to see theyre not
>>
I'm fairly certain control and Alan wake 2 have it but I only played it on Xbox.
>>
Only time I experienced it was in Zenless Zone Zero fishing minigames
>>
ff7 rebirth and ff16 have it but very minimal usage
>>
>>738875534
Death Stranding 2.
>>
>>738875534
What does it do? I have a dualsense.
>>
I'm probably the only retard in the world thats actively excited for advancements in vibration technology and other controller shit.
It's the one autistic reason why I don't like using mouse and keyboard
>>
>>738877210
You are not millions bought the dual sense controller for this feature and where disappointed nobody actually supported it.
You are not special
>>
>>738875534
I hope FH6 implements it, but I doubt it since they've never even made a good clutch implementation
>>
>>738877350
You sound like a fun person
>>
>>738877506
Yes I spend my days playing with baby goats.
It fixed my 20y of depression
>>
>>738877501
Horizon games are never realistic tho. Also I highly doubt a former xbox exclusive really cares that much about the ps5 controller
>>
>>738877573
You should do it again
>>
>>738875808
>weapon ability is done by holding the left trigger halfway, a full press activates the energy weapon
that sounds awful
they cant just map them to different buttons?
>>
>>738877862
Tomorrow
>>
>>738875534
Death Stranding 2 is the GOAT for this
>>
>>738875534
Hate the dual sense triggers. They have enough travel to go across the street.

Pragmata, but you have to switch the controller type since it defaults to xbox.
Beamng.drive is also pretty neat it simulates pedal feedback through the triggers.
It's a shame the DualSense isn't more widely supported.

>weapon ability
its not really an ability, more a second mode. Eg a gun shoots a charged attack instead of singular bullets yknow. It feels very natural. But the game lets you map the buttons anyway
>>
>>738878001
What does it do?
>>
>>738875808
good morning sir

>>
>>738875534
Stellar blade.
>>
>>738875808
Does a full press make the character shit?
>>
Returnal and Ratchet and Clank are the only 2 that actually use it for gameplay
>>
>>738875534
uhhhh
super mario sunshine
>>
Pro tip if a game says it has dual sense support turn off your steam input
>>
Is the dual sense edge worth it?
>>
>>738878482
Nta but I think death stranding 1 and 2 use adaptive trigger resistance to simulate how difficult the trek is.
>>
>>738884135
This true of the PC port as well for 1?
>>
>>738884293
Gotta google that yourself fella. I never played it with controller because while I love force feedback stuff like that, I love mouse aiming in games with guns more.
>>
kill your parents
>>
>>738875534
jedi survivor
also the haptics only works wired on pc
>>
>>738876154
That part in U4 ps5 where you have to tap the controller like a torch was utter kino
