It was great as a cinematic/experience game. There's still not quite anything like it.
Not much in terms of gameplay, but that's fine, at least it doesn't get in the way. I'd say gameplay is almost always the weakest part of JRPGs.

Mortis apparently works on another game right now with his friends. One of them is Morusque, who probably makes OST and made "ambient" zone OST for remake.
