Noelle's mental instability seems like a questionable choice of design. Because this is going to dominate the impression of the game no matter what. So unless Toby Fox's intention for this game was for it to be exclusively about vulnerability and abuse then these kind of scenes with Noelle seem like a bad idea. Final prophecy theories really prove that Deltarune fans can't read. It clearly spells out all the criteria that needs to be met for a valid prophecy theory all in one of the memorable scenes in the game.>It is a tragedy>It is the only way to save the worlds (plural)>It's something that Susie wants to stop>It's something that Susie believes Kris won't let happen>It's something that Susie believes Ralsei ESPECIALLY won't let happenThat being said, I do have trouble coming up with literally anything that meets all those criteria. It feels like these conditions should limit the possibilities enough to figure it out, though. The first things that come to mind are a complete separation of the light and dark worlds or Ralsei having to die, but it's hard for me to believe that Ralsei would be troubled by either of those things if it meant saving the lightners, so I'm at a loss.And there's also Ralsei saying that he believes kindness can lead to a happy ending in chapter 1. It's not necessarily clear if he's saying that the tragedy could be avoided through kindness, but it's not a stretch to think that by any means.
