For me, it's Towa.
Its a series where if you don't instantly like the atmosphere and the characters, it is not for you. Story doesn't happen until you reach the capital city in the first game, which is basically at the end. The second game is more or less the same as it just introduces new characters as you re-tread areas you explored in the first game. I haven't gotten to the third chapter yet but will play soon

First chapter suffers from something called "Starting point that has to set everything up for the sequel to make sense" syndrome it's insane how much better the second chapter is compared to the first in terms of literally everything , this game is the living personification and the birth of the term "It gets better in 50+ hours"
Trails in the Sky is evergreen-tier fantasy and worldbuilding. People who don't like Trails games are usually the type that cry about Frieren not being good. They can't handle good fantasy, or just don't like JRPG's (which is valid, I get why some people have complaints about them even though I love them). People who hate Trails or Frieren are the same type of people who think they fixed Cyberpunk and now it's a good game.
