>>738884353You know, as a completely incidental note, I think part of the appeal of E33 is that it's rooted in more of an European cultural context.I'm not saying FF7R or Rebirth is bad, but I do think they're based around a very different mode of storytelling, if that makes sense. Sort of like, when you have a translation, the cultural context is always different which leads to some oddities. I didn't like the changes in FF7R / Rebirth, for what that's worth. I kept feeling like I don't really understand the time jannies / Zack in his separate but connected timeline thing.
