Paradox from Deadlock is set up as a member of an anonymous organization of thieves that do it mostly for the thrill and clout. The member in the game has lots of aesthetics around time manipulation. I was very disappointed to learn she was just some rich Scottish cunt that wanted to be a thief and that the Paradox organization wasn't full of time-travelled copies of her.
