Humans yearn to see the fruits of their labor and survival games scratch that itch. We no longer have to hunt, gather, build, or do anything that has to do with survival because modern society takes care of all of our basic needs. It's probably why so many of us are depressed nowadays, because life has become so comfortable we no longer have to fight for anything. Just wake up, go to your job, buy slop at the market, return home, play, and go to bed.

And shit like related which just sold 2 million fucking copies despite being a total rip off and completely fucking shallow.So there's basically very few games, and barely any good games, and all the good games aren't even good. So we already our standards are in the gutter and we buy every single survival crafting game even if it sucks in the hopes that maybe it doesnt (it does)
