you can replace batteries in controllers that don't support AA batteries.

The Steam Controller just needs a size 16 torq screwdriver to open it up and the battery just pops out like old cell phone batteries did back in the day. Also Valve continued it's partnership with iFixit for spare parts and most internal components, including the battery, have QR codes on them that link directly to the store page to order a replacement part.
>>
modern controllers have batteries that are easily the size of 2 AAs side by side, and yet a pair of eneloops has over twice the mAh rating of any built-in-battery controller on the market.
why?

Now try to get the batteries as a homeless without shipping address
>>
>>738895205
have you tried not being homeless?
>>
Agreed, no one sells controllers that use aa anymore though, I just use a wired controller
>>
>>738895251
That would require me to get a job, and with a job I wouldn't have enough free time to play videogames all day
>>
>>738894407
just plug it on lol
stop being a batterykek

Why is human waste complaining about e-waste?
>>
>>738895205
How are you playing video games with a controller if you're homeless? A console/pc and tv/monitor on the sidewalk powered by a generator?
>>

>powered by a generator?
Too expensive... Just steal electricity from someone's property
