good cars are the most boring cars ever. b tier is where the most creative tunes and races are. It doesn't even matter the type of car. S and X rank are dry, especially against ai.
Pretty sure you can get an X999 within the first hour of gameplay, they give you money ,wheel spins, and a bunch of videos online showing you barn finds. Also the premium edition gives you like 20 cars right out of the gate.

There's some events that require certain cars but otherwise, you can just drive whatever the fuck you want.It does kinda negate any feeling of progress, but it also means if you've got a favorite car you won't be forced to switch from it.
