Video games can have one of three monetization schemes:
1) A box price
2) A subscription service
3) An in-game cash shop and microtransactions

Any game that you play should only have one. You might accept two if its a game you're really excited for. If you have any wisdom and self-respect at all, you will NEVER play a game that does all three.

In addition, you should NEVER accept games with gambling mechanics like gacha.
